Looking for a quick and tasty way to boost your protein intake.  Premier Protein’s Mixed Berry Almond cereal is probably the highest protein cereal on the market.  It has a whopping 20g of protein per 1 cup serving, with only 5g fat, and 12g net carb.  That’s a 1:4 fat:protein ratio with ~45% of total calories coming from protein - a much better overall ratio than most other high protein cereals.  Of the 5g total fat, only 1g is saturated, making it a healthy decision for those monitoring their saturated fat intake.  And with only 12g net carbohydrate, this cereal is actually much lower in carbohydrate than most popular cereals.  Combine this high protein cereal with 1 cup nonfat greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons chia seeds, and 1 cup fresh mixed berries for a well-balanced, high protein meal or snack.  Or combine it with a high protein milk or milk substitute, such as Orgain Almond Milk or Silk Ultra Protein.  The main thing to be wary of when using this product is the sodium content, 250mg per 1 cup - it is not outlandishly high, but can definitely add up.  If you have food allergies, be sure to read the label on this product as it contains wheat and almonds.  And it may contain milk, soy, brazil nuts, cashews, coconut, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, pecans, walnuts, and sesame seeds.  For those who have an aversion to stevia, you will also want to avoid this cereal.
